What is business email hosting?
A service that runs the mail server for your domain: it receives, stores, filters and sends your mail, and gives you webmail and settings for your mail apps. You keep the domain; the host does the rest.
How much does business email hosting cost?
Most providers charge per user, often $6 to $7 a month each or more. PostPike charges per account: Free covers 5 mailboxes, Basic 10 for €3.99 a month and Pro 25 for €9.99, VAT included.
Is PostPike reliable enough for a business?
PostPike runs the Stalwart mail server, an established open-source mail server, on servers in Germany, with nightly encrypted backups to a separate, locked storage bucket in the EU. Mail that can't be delivered right away waits in a queue and is retried, as with every mail server.
Will my mail land in spam?
PostPike signs every message with DKIM and sets up SPF and DMARC for your domain, which is what Gmail, Outlook and Yahoo look for. Sending limits keep spammers off the platform, which protects everyone's reputation, yours included.
Can I move my existing mail to PostPike?
Yes. The admin console imports mail over IMAP, folders included, while you keep working, from any provider that offers IMAP over SSL on port 993. Microsoft's Outlook.com no longer allows IMAP passwords, so it can't be imported this way.
Can I host email for several businesses?
Yes. Basic covers 5 domains and Pro 20, all in one account, so an agency or a founder with several brands can run them together.
