PostPike vs Google Workspace
Google Workspace is email plus a full office suite, priced per user. If you mainly need email on your own domain, PostPike does that for free, or for one flat price as you grow.
In short
- Choose PostPike if email is what you need: free for 5 mailboxes, flat pricing after that (opening soon), hosted by an EU company.
- Choose Google Workspace if your team lives in Docs, Drive and Meet and wants them in one bill.
- Or use both: stay on Google and add PostPike addresses, such as one for your AI agent.

Stay on Google, add PostPike addresses
Google calls it split delivery: mail for addresses Google doesn't have is passed on to PostPike. Your team keeps Gmail, and your AI agent gets agent@yourcompany.com without buying another Google seat.

PostPike and Google Workspace questions
Is there a free version of Google Workspace?
Not for email on your own domain. Google Workspace offers a 14-day trial, and Business Starter then costs $7 per user a month on a yearly plan, or $8.40 paying monthly. A free Gmail address only works on gmail.com.
Can I use Gmail with my own domain for free?
Not anymore in Gmail on the web. Google has stopped letting new users fetch mail from other accounts there, and ends it for everyone in January 2027, including sending as another address. You can still use a PostPike mailbox in the Gmail app on your phone over IMAP. Read the guide.
Can I keep Google Workspace and use PostPike too?
Yes. Add PostPike as a mail route in Google's admin console and pass on mail for unknown addresses. Your team stays on Google, and new addresses, such as your AI agent's, live on PostPike. See the steps.
How do I move from Google Workspace to PostPike?
Sign up with your address, prove your domain, and import each mailbox over IMAP in the admin console, using an app password from Google. When the mail is in, point your MX record to PostPike.
Email on your domain, without the per-user bill
Start free with five mailboxes, and keep Google alongside if you like.
