How to create a free business email
It takes about ten minutes, most of it waiting for DNS.
Get a domain
If you don't have one yet, register yourcompany.com at any registrar.
Sign up with the address you want
Choose an address on your domain and a password. No card needed.
Prove the domain
Add one TXT record. Your mailbox is created as soon as it's proven.
Add the mail records and start
Add MX, SPF, DKIM and DMARC from the list PostPike shows, then send and receive.
Why not just use a free Gmail address?
- Trust. anna@yourcompany.com looks like a business. annasbakery1987@gmail.com doesn't.
- Your brand. Every email you send repeats your domain name.
- It's yours. Change provider any time without changing your address.
- Team-ready. Add colleagues, shared addresses and AI agents as you grow.
Paid plans, opening soon
Basic adds 5 domains, 10 mailboxes, 20 GB, a catch-all and outside forwarding for €3.99 a month, for the whole account. When paid plans open, you upgrade in the admin console, and your mail and settings stay exactly as they are.
Free business email questions
Can I really get a business email for free?
Yes. PostPike's Free plan hosts email on your own domain at no cost: 5 mailboxes, 5 GB in total and 10 aliases, with webmail and IMAP for your mail apps. You only pay for the domain itself, at the registrar of your choice.
What's the catch?
The Free plan has one domain, lower sending limits (50 people a day per mailbox) and no catch-all or outside forwarding, and webmail may show a small sponsor banner. Paid plans fund it. Basic, opening soon, will be €3.99 a month for the whole account.
Do I need to buy a domain?
Yes, a business email needs a domain you own, such as yourcompany.com. A .com usually costs about $10 to $15 a year at registrars such as Cloudflare, Namecheap or GoDaddy. PostPike doesn't sell domains, so you keep yours wherever you like.
Is a free business email professional enough?
Your customers only see your address, and with PostPike it's on your own domain, with SPF, DKIM and DMARC set up so your mail is trusted. Nobody can tell which plan you're on. The difference from a free Gmail or Outlook address is exactly the point.
Can I use Outlook or Apple Mail with the free plan?
Yes. IMAP and SMTP are included on Free, so Apple Mail, Outlook, the Gmail app and Thunderbird all work. That's not true everywhere: Zoho Mail's free plan, for example, doesn't include IMAP or POP.
Can I move to another provider later?
Yes. Your domain stays yours, and you can export every message as standard files at any time. Point your domain's MX record elsewhere and you've moved.
